24 different languages, 24 singers but song one
Debutant director Vijey Aditiya, who had earlier worked as an assistant director under Sasi of ‘Poo’ fame, turns director himself with the Tamil movie Eesal.
Though the story and screenplay of the Tamil movie Eesal hasn’t yet been revealed, sources that one particular song could easily be the highlight of the film.
A song, penned in 24 different languages (hold your breath!) would feature in the film, sung by 24 different singers. The Tamil movie Eesal is produced by Lights & Shadow, a new production house, and stars Mithun and Sunulakshmi (who debuted in Sirithal Rasippaen last year) as the lead pair.
Aditiya says that the song under reference contains words from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Gujarat, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Oriya and many other languages and was penned by ‘Maas’ Venkat and Roy. The film Eesal and the song has music by Mithun Eashwar, a newcomer who would be debuting as music director with this Tamil movie Eesal.
Linking this song to the national integration song ‘Vande Maataram’, Aditiya says that the song has come out really well and that it has been shot in many Indian States and Union Territories to match the mood of the lyric.
